Don't get me wrong, I think that location is extremely important (and Phil knows St. Paul!), but our house is, and likely will be, the largest asset purchase of my life. I want to feel excited and hopeful about the actual asset, and not like it is just a means to an end. Phil's knowledge and guidance made it an exciting and hopeful process, and we are very pleased with the house. Phil has a pleasant and easy-going demeanor. We had a few tricky situations arise during the purchase of our house, where my partner and I would go to Phil and say "what do we do here?" and "are we being reasonable?" and Phil would lay out and walk us through the choices. I never felt pushed to go in a direction I didn't want to go in, and always felt comfortable and well-represented during the process. I am convinced that Phil's negotiation skills ultimately won us the house.
Michaela Toohey was great to work with on both the sale of our existing home and the purchase of our new home. She was highly professional but also friendly and approachable and particularly excelled at prompt and effective communication. She was always more than willing to show us a new listing. She is very knowledgeable about housing and the market and provided insightful guidance. When she doesn't know the answer to a question, she knows where to go to find the answer and always follows up. Highly recommend her.
Phil went above and beyond to help us sell my elderly parents home. As a busy business owner, I didn't have the time to coordinate all the details myself. Phil provided reliable subcontractor recommendations to help get the home ready for market. He knew the market well, priced the home right, and the house sold right away. He then coordinated document signing for my parents at their new apartment so they wouldn't have to travel. Phil provided amazing personal service, professionalism, and knowledge.
